The PAS 9347/AI card provides 16 analog input channels with 12
bit resolution, and is functionally equivalent to RTP Corporation’s
7435/47 card. The following advantages are provided by the PAS
9347/AI
card:

Higher speed ADC, 10 uSec conversion time versus, 25 uSec,
(this card's sample time has been increased to make
it run at the same rate as the 7435/47 card.)

Higher over-voltage protection
25 volts on all channels for the filtered version and 35 volts
on the non- filtered version, versus 25 volts on three
channels, and
-
All input channels are high impedance with the power
removed.
Programming this card is identical to programming the
RTP 7435/47 card, and all of the input channel connections are
made on the
same
pins as on the existing card. This allows systems designed with
the 7435/47 card to be supported in the future. The performance
of these systems and future I/O systems can be improved by using
the PAS 9347/AI.
The PAS 9347/AI-X99 card is fully jumper configurable and only
two versions are required to support all of the dash numbers of
the
7435/47 card. A filtered and un-filtered version are available,
and all other combinations of input signal range and gain are supported
by installing pluggable jumpers. The filtered version has the same
filter time constant as the existing card, and the input over-voltage
is limited to 25 Volts by the input filter capacitors. The PAS
9347/AI
is also available with solder in jumpers installed to match the
dash numbers of the RTP 7435/47 card. These cards are stamped with
the same dash number as the RTP equivalent card.
